East Coast Biker Chicks (ECBC) is an all female Motorcycle Club for women 21 years and older. Founded by Cookie Belcamino in Boston, MA in 2003 ECBC has grown over the past 6 years and expanded it's membership throughout the northeast. After visiting Boston and riding with Cookie and The Chicks, and seeing the every growing numbers of women riding in NEPA, an East Coast Biker Chicks PA Chapter was formed in 2007 by Pat Gallacher.

ECBC NEPA currently has members from all over our area with all different skill levels and years of riding experience. We are not prejudice as to make or madel of motorcycle and we're always on the lookout for new members who would like to get out on the road with other women bikers.

ECBC NEPA selected the Women's Resource Center as the recipient of our charitable contributions. The Women's Resource Center's mission is to provide programs and services that support and uphold the principle that women have the right to choose and maintain a life free from oppression and violence. The Women's Resource Center supports a feminist philosophy which places a high value on the individuality and equality of women and all persons, and is committed to enhancing the dignity, self-worth and self-confidence of women. The Women's Resource Center seeks to respond to and actively change the prevalence of domestic and sexual violence. Services are offered regardless of age, race, country of origin, marital status, ethnicity, gender, income, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, and mental and physical ability.

As we head into our third season in NEPA ECBC's members are looking forward to another year of participating charity rides oragnized by Rolling Thunder, Friends of the Forgotten and Wyoming Valley Motorcycle Club just to name a few.
