We had Pat Gallacher in the studio this morning. Pat is the head of the Pennsylvania chapter of the Eastcoastbikerchicks! It's a motorcycle club for women and Pat dropped by to talk about the two week old chapter she's organized here in PA..

The East Coast Biker Chicks was founded by Cookie Belcamino of Boston (who joined us on the show by phone today) in 2003 and participates in and organizes their own charity rides. In Boston proceeds from their ride goes toward the fight against Breast Cancer. Pat tells us that until the Pennsylvania chapter gets a little more established they hope to participate in Rolling Thunder, the Ride for Diane and others with an eye toward their own charity ride to support the Women's Resource Center, an organization that helps women who are the victims of domestic violence and abuse.
